Entrepreneurship Students Busy

Entrepreneurship students have been learning about the design thinking process. As they learned about the process they worked to redesign the common backpack to accommodate their classmate’s wants and needs. Students first started by interviewing classmates to determine what problems they currently had with their backpacks. Then they sketched various ideas that would address their customer’s problems. While interviewing their classmates they found that there were problems with the straps not being comfortable enough, water bottle packets that weren’t deep enough, and the need for additional organizational pockets among others. They reflected on their findings and sketched their ideas and solutions to solve their classmates problems. After sketching their ideas, they shared their ideas get obtain additional information. They then built prototypes out of various materials we had to feature their ideas and share with the class via a pitch. Great job to these future entrepreneurs!
